About Nola
My name is Nola Dixon, and I am from Irmo, SC. I graduated from Dutch Fork High School with honors in three years. I am currently a Capstone Scholar student at the University of South Carolina studying Visual Communications with a minor in Sport and Entertainment Management. I have a love for photography, camera operation, and all things sports. I grew up playing almost every single sport. I started photography as a way to capture pictures at events but later fell in love with the whole process. I am currently a photographer for The Daily Gamecock and for the Student Life Marketing Team. I am also a Live Productions Student Worker for Gamecock Athletics. For this position, I operate cameras that are streamed on SECN, SECN+, and ESPN+.

For this position, I attend events around campus and photograph content. I Collaborate with the other social media marketing interns to run the Student Life social media with over 18k followers. I create and plan posts for the @uofscstudents Instagram page to create fun and engaging content to highlight the student experience.
